WHAT WE ARE LIKE A CHURCH
We believe church is not meant to be endured, but enjoyed. The choice to endure or enjoy is ours.

1. We are focused on Jesus.

His message is the reason we gather, the truth we preach, and the hope we carry.

Colossians 1:12-20 (NLT)

Always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to hispeople, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

2. We are passionate about people.

People are our purpose, not our projects. Every soul matters here. 1 John 4:7-8 (NLT)

Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food.

3. We give with joy.

Generosity is our privilege, not a pressure. We live with open hands because God gave us everything.           2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.

4. We give our best.

Excellence is not about perfection but about a spirit of worship in everything we do. Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

5. We lead by serving.

True leadership is not about titles, but about taking action. We serve with humility, love boldly, and show up when it matters most. Matthew 20:26 (NLT)

But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,

6. We choose to always honor.

We speak life, value everyone, and build a culture where respect runs deep. Romans 12:10 (NLT)

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

7. We are the answer to someone else’s prayer.

We live on mission, ready and willing to be used by God—here and now.Luke 4:18-19 (NLT)

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”
